KS2 SATs dates changed - now Tuesday 9 May to Friday 12 May 2023

The Key Stage (KS) 2 assessment timetable has changed by 1 day to accommodate the extra bank holiday on Monday 8 May 2023. Teacher assessments and other end of Key Stage assessments are not affected.

There is an additional bank holiday in 2023 on Monday 8 May to mark the coronation of King Charles III. This means the Key Stage (KS) 2 SATs scheduled for that week will begin a day later than planned, on Tuesday 9 May.

What's changing?

Instead of the usual Monday to Thursday, the new KS2 SATs timetable will look like this:
