Who do the requirements apply to?

  • Maintained schools
  • Academies (including free schools)
  • Special schools (including maintained special schools and special academies)
  • Alternative provision (AP) settings (including pupil referral units)
  • Independent schools that have chosen to participate in the KS1 assessments
