As a proprietor of academies, you must make arrangements for supporting pupils with medical conditions. This is according to the Children and Families Act 2014.

If you're unsure about any of the areas in the policy – in particular, sections such as how to set individual healthcare plans or manage medicines – do seek additional guidance from relevant healthcare professionals when setting the policy. This is explained in the DfE guidance linked to above.
