Our model child protection and safeguarding policy includes a model statement of procedures for dealing with allegations of abuse against staff in appendix 3.

If you don't want to use our full safeguarding policy, or prefer to keep a separate policy on dealing with allegations of abuse made against staff, you can simply extract and adapt the model text in appendix 3.

The requirement

You're required to have a statement of procedures for dealing with allegations of abuse against staff. It's also mentioned in Keeping Children Safe in Education that you should make sure there are procedures in place for dealing with such allegations.
