Check if you're likely to be inspected in 2023/24
There's a list of schools likely to be inspected this academic year on the Church of England (CofE) website.
Find the list on this page under the heading 'lists of schools likely to be inspected in 2023-2024'.
Please note, this list could change as there may be unannounced amendments due to extraordinary circumstances.
Current inspection timings post-COVID
Normally you'd have a SIAMS inspection every 5 years from the date of your previous inspection.
However, due to COVID-19, inspections were suspended. This means your inspection will be carried out:
- Within 8 years of the date of your previous inspection
- Between 1 and 2 years after the academic year in which it would have taken place before the COVID-related suspension
