Progress measures: pupils with SEN

All pupils, including those with special educational needs (SEN), are included in whole-school progress measures. See how these are calculated, where to find the data and what you can do to monitor pupils working below the standard of the National Curriculum.

Pupils with SEN are included in whole-school progress measures

For both primary and secondary schools, all pupils, including those with special educational needs (SEN), will be included in the calculations of the whole-school progress measures.

There is no expected progress for pupils with SEN, as the expected progress measure has been removed from performance tables.
